Our Staff

STUDIO NINE OWNER/PILATES INSTRUCTOR:

 

Marley Cormier has been a dancer for her entire life and has taught in Orange, MA as a dance teacher for four years and in Hadley, MA for the past year. She was introduced to Pilates In the spring of 2021 by one of her professors while receiving her associates degree in Dance at Greenfield Community College. Over the Covid-19 pandemic, she began watching Pilates classes on YouTube and practicing each day. In the spring of 2022 she decided to take a step further and join an educational course through Breathe Education. In December of 2022, Marley received her certificate in Pilates matwork and reformer. Since then, she has opened her own Pilates and Yoga Studio in Orange, MA. She officially opened the doors to Studio Nine on March 7th, 2023. Studio Nine has many classes to offer including mat, reformer, and yoga classes as well as private sessions. In the future, Marley has shown interest in furthering her education and hopefully obtaining a diploma in clinical Pilates through Breathe Education. Her passion for health and fitness, pushes her to teach others and share her love of pilates with all clients.

STUDIO NINE YOGA INSTRUCTOR:

 

Jennifer Aldrich - aka mom, has been leading yoga classes in Central MA and the North Quabbin for the past 19 years and has been practicing for over 25. “Yoga is something I stumbled upon while in college. I went to a class and immediately knew I was in the right place. I had spent my younger years in dance and gymnastic classes and yoga became a way for me to reconnect back to my body. I enjoy the creativity of leading a yoga practice and encouraging my participants to trust their own path; to not compare themselves to the people around them. Someone may be more flexible, have better balance or strength and that's great for them. Everyone's practice looks different and each person's practice is perfect for them.”

 

Jennifer is also a Reiki Practitioner, earning her level one at the age of 14. “My Reiki practice definitely supports my yoga practice and vice versa. Connection to energy and chakras is an important part of my life, my practice, and my classes.”
