About the event

Join Studio Nine and Little Owl Acupuncture for a Sound Bath featuring a Needle-Free Acupuncture Experience

Experience deep relaxation and transition into autumn with our unique sound bath enhanced acupuncture session. This session will blend soothing sound therapy with the subtle energy balancing of acupuncture points activated by magnets. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), autumn is linked to the Metal element, which governs the lungs and symbolizes a time of letting go and refinement.  We will align treatment with the Metal element's qualities of structure and clarity. This is an ideal time to focus on respiratory health and emotional balance, as the lungs help process and release grief and sadness, mirroring autumn’s preparation for renewal. Embrace this holistic journey to enhance well-being and harmonize with the changing season.

What to Expect:

  • Your sound bath enhanced acupuncture treatment will take place on the floor.  We will provide yoga mats, blocks, and yoga pillows to support your relaxation, allowing you to fully embrace the healing benefits of acupuncture. Studio Nine/Jennifer Aldrich Bio:

Jennifer Aldrich has been leading yoga classes in Central MA and the North Quabbin for the past 19 years and has been practicing for over 25. “Yoga is something I stumbled upon while in college. I went to a class and immediately knew I was in the right place. I had spent my younger years in dance and gymnastic classes and yoga became a way for me to reconnect back to my body. I enjoy the creativity of leading a yoga practice and encouraging my participants to trust their own path; to not compare themselves to the people around them. Someone may be more flexible, have better balance or strength and that's great for them. Everyone's practice looks different and each person's practice is perfect for them.”

Jennifer is also a Reiki Practitioner, earning her level one at the age of 14. “My Reiki practice definitely supports my yoga practice and vice versa. Connection to energy and chakras is an important part of my life, my practice, and my classes.”

Jennifer added Certified Sound Bath Facilitator to her resume in 2023 and has been facilitating sound baths during yoga classes and during meditation workshops at Studio Nine and Health and Wellness and Holistic events in the North Quabbin
